I've been covering high school sports since 1985. I've had bylines and photos published in almost every daily newspaper in Vemont.
In 2007, I started Vermont Creative Services which quickly morphed into Cold Hollow Photography.
As the name implies, I am a professional photographer who shoots sports, weddings, senior and family portraits, etc ... But my first love is writing and I hope to use this blog as a supplement to my work that appears in local printed publications.
While the focus of this blog is ostensibly high school sports, anyone who used to read my On the Sidelines column - which was published for nearly a decade in the St. Albans Messenger - knows that I'm a tangent machine and will stray all over the map.
My main goal with this blog is to educate, inform and amuse. Moreover, I hope I spark conversation with my readers and encourage reader feedback.
